How it works

4-step performance guarantee 

A simple and transparent mechanism — objectives defined before signing, automatic compensation if not achieved. 

Step 1

Reference measurement (IPMVP)

Joint measurement of consumption before work begins. Basis for calculating guaranteed savings — validated by both parties before signing.

Step 2

Inclusion of objectives in the contract

Guaranteed savings in kWh and euros as stated in the contract. Compensation mechanism, measurement methods and climate adjustments specified.

Step 3

Implementation of works and monitoring SEME NEXTEP

Work completed. Connection to SEME NEXTEP which continuously measures and detects any deviation before it becomes significant.

Step 4

Annual report and automatic compensation

Performance report comparing actual results to target. Compensation paid within the contractual timeframe in case of underperformance — without needing to request it.
